We dual raise our goats. This means we allow mom to raise babies, while also feeding them by the bottle at times. We prefer to keep our babies on mom as long as possible. This helps to strengthen the immune system and allow for proper healthy growth. We participate in show, linear appraisal, and Dairy Goat Improvement Registry through the American Dairy Goat Association. We support our girls to be the best dairy goats they can be, and anyone that does not meet our minimum ADGA AR requirements is thinned from our herd. I work outside the farm full time as a registered nurse. The skills of which have assisted in care of my goats tremendously. Boys are available as early as 8 weeks. I prefer to keep girls until 12 weeks. All babies are disbudded, vaccinated, and highly socialized. Our herd is tested annually for CAE, CL, and Johnes and random for Brucellosis and Q Fever. We also participate in the ADGA Linear Appraisal. We offer a limited number of milk shares and provide classes on cheese. Contact us for a personal one on one class! 269-568-6265.
